Adolescence Education: Spanish (7-12) [ASP]

Students develop language skills and cultural awareness and acquire the pedagogical background necessary to teach Spanish in grades 7-12 in New York state. For additional information, visit the Modern Languages Department .

Note: Spanish adolescence education majors are eligible for Spanish K-6 extension by taking ICC 324: Foreign Language for the Elementary School

A. Required Spanish Core Courses: 12 credit hours

Course is taught in English. C. Four Elective Spanish Courses: 12 credit hours
Choose courses in Spanish at the 300 level or above. D. Two Spanish Courses at the 400 level: 6 credit hours
