Sustainable Energy Systems Program Requirements
PENDING SUNY and NYSED APPROVAL - A minimum of 36 credit hours of approved graduate work as described below is required for the M.S. in Sustainable Energy Systems. A. Physics of Sustainable Energy Systems: 21 credit hours
B. "Plus" Courses: Nine credit hours
C. Culminating Activity: Six credit hours
M.S. candidates must successfully complete a six credit hour culminating activity in the form of a professional internship in a renewable energy company, engineering firm, building performance company, or a company that designs and installs high efficiency heating, cooling or lighting systems. Other requirements for the award of the M.S. in Sustainable Energy Systems may be determined by the department and must be ascertained by students in consultation with the department graduate advisor. Total Credit Hours Required: 36
