SUNY Cortland offers the oldest and largest sport management major at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the SUNY system of colleges and universities.
Professional preparation is enhanced by the development of concentrations and minors that allow some specialization. Additionally, students are engaged in over 100 hours of field experience prior to their required senior internship.
The program focuses on future trends such as information technology in sport, sport sales and marketing and international sport. Elective credit hours may also be used to enroll in a study abroad program.
