HLH 530 - Family Life Education and the Classroom Teacher(B)This course is designed to provide the classroom teacher with the basic skills and overall knowledge necessary to teach in the area of family life, character, sexuality, and parenting education. An examination of teacher preparation, content, curricula, resources and teaching methodology will form the focus of the course. Will meet the SED requirements for child development, parenting education, sexual abuse prevention, and child abduction.(3 cr. hr.)
