HLH 694 - Assessment and Evaluation in Health Education and Health Promotion Strategies and techniques for conducting needs assessments and evaluations as part of planning and implementing effective health education and health promotion programs. Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Assess individual and community assets, needs, resources, and capacity for health education and health promotion programs.
- Synthesize and use needs assessments results to plan and implement effective health education and health promotion interventions.
- Plan program intervention and curriculum evaluations.
- Apply the Precede-Proceed Model as a framework for needs assessment and evaluation incorporating health behavior theories as appropriate.
