COM 315 - Contemporary Trends in Popular Culture

An examination of significant current trends in popular culture and the media; a review of trends in modern society; apply critical communication theory to analyze specific areas of popular culture such as entertainment, news, music, social platforms and mass media. Prerequisite: COM 100. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
