Advanced analysis of the history of children and youth in America from 1500 to the present. Prerequisite: HIS 200 or 201. (3 cr. hr.)

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Explain the historical significance of key themes, events, and people relevant to the history of children and youth in America from 1500 to the present.
  2. Assess the persuasiveness of historians' claims about the past.
