PSY 322 - Theories of Personality

Theories of organization, development of personality. Prerequisites: PSY 101, three additional hours in psychology. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
Frequency code B = offered at least once per year

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary and historically important theories and theorists.
  2. Differentiate between personality content and personality processes.
  3. Explain individual differences in normative personality and personality disorders.
  4. Outline conditions that promote personality change and stability.
