Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Explain the factors and processes involved in second language reading in general and English as a Second Language reading in particular.
2. Apply research-based best practices in teaching reading including strategies, techniques, materials development and assessment.
3. Design and implement effective reading instruction and assessment for English as a New Language learners.
