ENG 258 - Irish Women Writers Introduction to the work of Ireland's women writers in all three genres: drama, poetry and fiction. Prerequisite: CPN 100 or 102; or ENG 110 may be taken concurrently. Fulfills: GE 7, GEHU; LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code C = offered at least once every two years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Relate the language and structure of a literary text to its content and meaning.
- Compose well-developed verbal and written responses to literature.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Irish literature by women.
