PED 659 - Graduate Student Teaching and Seminar in Physical Education Part II Second half of the semester of supervised teaching in grades K-12. One experience will be focused on elementary PE and one experience will be focused on secondary PE. Prerequisites: Completion of all program requirements and a cumulative 3.0 grade point average. (6 cr. hr.) Frequency code A = offered every semester
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Maintain a positive learning environment and culturally responsive instruction that draws upon diverse learners' varied backgrounds, needs, and development.
- Effectively guide students to develop disciplinary skills and content understandings that include central concepts and relevance to students' lives.
