COM 321 - Writing for Public Relations Writing techniques utilized in the fields of public relations and advertising with a focus on honing writing skills, including press releases, fundraising solicitation, speeches, and copy for print and web distribution. Prerequisite: COM 203. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Use and analyze information sources to create various forms of public relations content.
- Generate and format public relations information in written forms for distribution on various platforms.
- Strategize and develop a public relations campaign.
