SPA 301 - Spanish Language Study in Mexico Study in Cuernavaca, Mexico, during the Winter Session. The course is designed for students who have completed the intermediate level of Spanish. Concentration on grammar, composition and comprehension. May be repeated once with special permission of department. Prerequisites: SPA 202, consent of department. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code W = offered in winter
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Express themselves appropriately orally and in writing in different social contexts.
- Demonstrate their increased knowledge of the grammar and vocabulary of the Spanish language.
- Analyze and explain several cultural differences in family life between Mexico and the United States.
