ECO 452 - Advanced Finance Examination and discussion of concepts introduced in ECO 352 and enhanced development of topics such as: capital budgeting, financial statement analysis, cash flow management, dividend policy, capital structure, working capital management, current asset management, mergers, acquisitions, divestiture and bankruptcy. Prerequisites: ECO 352. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code C = offered at least once every two years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe, compare and apply the concepts of net present value and internal rate of return.
- Build various portfolios testing the concepts of diversification.
- Investigate and present a comprehensive financial analysis of a firm.
