EXS 667 - Advanced Exercise Psychology

Study of psychological determinants and consequences of physical activity behaviors across the lifespan. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Explain the psychological factors and ways to modify those factors that influence exercise and physical activity behavior of individuals.
  2. Identify psychosocial influences and consequences of exercise and physical activity.
  3. Apply the theoretical knowledge to address problems and issues in exercise and physical activity.
