REC 503 - Campus Recreation Programming and Administration Design, coordination, delivery and management of leisure, arts and recreation programs and services for the campus community. Topics include programming principles, types of programs, interoffice/provider coordination, publicity, budgeting, supervision, evaluation, facilities, equipment management and auxiliary services. Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Compare and contrast college student development theories.
- Construct a comprehensive program for an area of a college campus using college student development theories as a rationalization.
- Deconstruct the higher education systems that interact with recreation programming.
