Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Compare differences among industrialized and developing nations in terms of major health problems and available programs. 
  2. Identify health service systems in the world and their implications for world health.
  3. Discuss the role of culture in disease etiology as well as health status overall.
  4. Define international health organizations and their role in the promotion of world health.
  5. Appraise the health considerations and policies associated with international travels.
