HIS 621 - Historiography of U.S. Women Introduction to the rich historiography of women and gender in the United States. The course will move chronologically from the colonial period through the present, highlighting particular issues and themes from the field. (3 cr. hr.)

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the historical significance of key themes, events, and people relevant to U.S. women's history.
- Assess the persuasiveness of historians' claims about the past.
