EDU 101 - Service Learning in Elementary Schools I Introduction to service learning with an emphasis on developing skills related to teaching elementary school students in an after-school program. Corequisite: COR 101. (2 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the diverse characteristics and needs of elementary school students through discussion of readings and interactions focused on developmentally appropriate and culturally sustaining pedagogies for K-6th graders.
