ECO 354 - Leadership and Ethics in Business

A focus on ethically based business leadership and the factors that influence business leadership effectiveness. Various ethical issues and the ethical dimensions embedded in business decisions are evaluated. Prerequisite: MGT 250. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Distinguish among the various traits and styles of effective leadership.
  2. Apply the Situational Leadership II model.
  3. Analyze the role of corporate culture power and politics in developing effective leaders and fostering ethical decision making.
  4. Analyze the role of ethics in  situations involving employee rights company sales and competition.
