ATS 345 - Animation Techniques The study of animation as an art form. Topics include the history of sequential imagery, animation production, sound design, concept development and storyboarding. Personal investigation of animation techniques is emphasized. Frequent lectures, film, critiques and exercises. Prerequisites: ATS 101, ATS, 114 and ATS 202. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Articulate and apply a variety of animation techniques based on historical standards.
- Demonstrate fundamental skills in storytelling, storyboarding, animation, framing, lighting, editing and sound through traditional and digital techniques based on industry specifications.
