POL 404 - Constitutional Law II: Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Examines civil rights and liberties under the United States Constitution as interpreted by the Supreme Court. As such it emphasizes problems arising from struggles for the protection of persons, opinions, property from arbitrary governmental and private interference. Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Summarize key attributes of Supreme Court cases using the designated case brief method.
- Respond accurately and completely to questions regarding Supreme Court precedents.
- Synthesize Supreme Court precedents to correctly, completely, and coherently resolve novel hypothetical case problems.
