Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Summarize key theories of Asian social and political thought, including Confucianism, Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.
  2. Compare and contrast Asian political thought with nationalism, post-colonialism, communism, and Western democracy.
  3. Analyze Asian political thought as a form of current global and political realities and relevant questions for global engagement.
