Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Draw and interpret line graphs, histograms, bar graphs, circle graphs, stem and leaf plots, scatter plots, and box and whisker plots.
  2. Analyze distribution of data through computation and interpretation of mean, median, mode, and measures of variation.
  3. Compute probabilities, odds, and expected values.
  4. Describe, analyze, and classify two- and three-dimensional figures using their defining properties.
  5. Determine perimeter, area, surface area, and volume in standard and metric measurement systems.
  6. Solve problems dealing with congruence and similarity of geometric figures.
  7. Perform reflections, rotations, translations and dilations on figures in the plane, and identify symmetry.
