HIS 490 - Seminar Individual historical research requiring the analysis of historical documents, the conceptualization of an original historical argument and the situating of research findings within the recent historiography on the chosen topic. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Formulate a historical argument based on primary source analysis.
- Assess the strengths and deficiencies of existing scholarship on a selected historical topic.
