Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe the distinctive features of the geographic setting of New York State.
  2. Compare and/or contrast the distinctive geographic features of one city or region in New York State with another.
  3. Identify and demonstrate knowledge of the main processes of geography and global issues in the context of the New York State.
  4. Research, evaluate, and integrate information and data focusing on regional geography concepts through map use and written assignments.
