Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe the distinctive features of the geographic setting of the United States.
  2. Compare and/or contrast the distinctive geographic features of one state in the United States with those of the New York State.
  3. Identify and demonstrate knowledge of the main processes of geography and global issues in the context of the United States.
  4. Research, evaluate, and integrate information and data focusing on regional geography concepts through map use and written assignments.
