FRE 407 - Commercial French Vocabulary and forms of French commercial usage. Enrolled students may register to take the exam for the certificate for proficiency in commercial French offered by the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris. Prerequisite: One 300-level French course, 305 or above. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Compose business documents in French for a French commercial context.
- Differentiate between appropriate French business language and poor language due either to English interference or improper French terminology.
- Interact in business situations.
- Translate commercial documents from French to English and vice versa.
