FRE 316 - Introduction to French Literature II From 1700 to modern times. Prerequisite: FRE 202 or above. Fulfills: GE 7; LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code S = offered in spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Recognize and arrange works of French literature according to appropriate literary movements.
- Describe the characteristics of literary movements in France from the 18th to the 20th century.
- Analyze works from these periods to compose essays showing how specific details in the works relate to major concepts that may be present.
