EXS 367 - Exercise Psychology

Selected psychological and related theoretical factors that influence behavior of individuals participating in exercise. Prerequisite: PSY 101 Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify how psychological factors influence involvement and performance in exercise and physical activity.
  2. Describe how participation in exercise and physical activity influences the psychological makeup of individuals.
  3. Apply skills and knowledge about exercise psychology from the perspective of an athletic trainer, allied health and fitness professional, or coach.
