Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of morphology, syntax, phonetics, phonology, and pragmatics as pertinent to ESL teaching.
2. Identify and describe interlanguage/learner language errors.
3. Identify language patterns and text types through the use of specialized text analysis methodology and techniques.
4. Produce a variety of text types based on their previously identified lexico-grammatical characteristics.
