CHE 453 - Biochemistry Lab

Laboratory practice with biochemical substances and experiments illustrating chemical reactions which may occur in biological systems. Prerequisite: CHE 451. (1 cr. hr.)
Frequency code S = offered in spring

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Apply the theory and practice of modern instrumentation to biochemical problems.
  2. Design and perform laboratory experiments, including critically analyzing, interpreting and presenting, in oral and written form, the results of these experiments.
  3. Analyze kinetic data to determine kinetic rate constants.
