HIS 647 - Scholarship on the Teaching and Learning of History Examination of scholarship on the teaching and learning of history. Open only to students in the M.A. and adolescence education: social studies (7-12) M.S.Ed. - history concentration programs. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Evaluate the leading science-of-learning scholarship that informs pedagogical practices in history classrooms.
- Compare the work of multiple scholars on the teaching and learning of history for areas of consensus and debate.
- Reflect on and evaluate the scholarship of teaching and learning of history for their own practice.
