SPM 678 - Sport Arbitration

An in-depth examination of the role of arbitration in the sport industry. The use of arbitration to resolve salary disputes and disciplinary grievances within major U.S. sport leagues. The growing role and function of arbitration in the settlement of disputes involving international sport governing bodies and professional leagues, such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games, including the role and function of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport. Prerequisite: SPM 670. (3 cr. hr.)
