SPM 538 - Applied Digital Video Analysis Students will complete applied field research using a digital video analysis system. Students will collect and analyze data. Students will proactively shoot, capture, analyze and distribute discipline-specific digital video and present a research project at the end of the course. Prerequisite: SPM 537. (1 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Implement the skills (shoot, capture, analyze, and distribute digital video) necessary to secure a highly competitive internship or coaching placement through opportunities for personal growth and accomplishment provided by their specific discipline-based video analysis projects.
- Utilize digital video analysis in advanced discipline-specific projects and sport specific coaching, training, and improvement.
- Assess advanced motor performance in athletes on sport specific movement patterns.
- Analyze and interpret the findings of the digital video analysis for an individual and/or team performance at an advanced level.
- Apply the principles of ethical behavior in their digital video analysis project.
