SHH 677 - Advanced Diagnostics Theory and application of diagnostic procedures for assessment in all linguistic areas. Informal and formal procedures and reporting procedures will be included. Open to students in the M.S. program in communication sciences and disorders. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyze and report quality of selected assessments (formal and informal) relative to design, focus, evidentiary support, and utility for diverse groups of individuals, within the scope of communication disorders and sciences.
- Analyze and report on approaches and methods of assessment for individuals with varied communication disorders and from diverse backgrounds.
- Synthesize assessment information into a written evaluation report.
