PED 610 - Professional Literature Analysis

Consists of a comprehensive, but foundational, investigation of recent literature and research in the various areas of study that directly influence the profession. (3 cr. hr.)
Frequency code A = offered every semester; M = offered in summer

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify current issues and research relevant to the field of physical education and physical activity. 
  2. Interpret and synthesize professional literature and research. 
  3. Develop and present discriminating opinions of literature and research that influence the field of physical education and physical activity. 
  4. Demonstrate effective academic writing appropriate for the field of physical education and physical activity.
