HLH 650 - Community Health Culminating Project The course is designed as a culminating and integrating experience for students in the community health graduate program. Students conduct an approved community health project in a community health setting. Students must be in the last semester of the program and have completed all required courses. Prerequisites: EDU 632, HLH 592, 593, 598 or equivalent, 601, 693 and 694. H, S, U grades are assigned. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Develop clearly written, supportable proposal for a community health education project.

Create a plan for the implementation of the community health education project.

Implement the community health education project at the community health facility.

Develop a final community health education project report detailing all phases of the project.

Defend the community health education project to classmates, faculty and community health personnel through a presentation.
