HIS 660 - Seminar in American History Directed research in depth in certain areas of American history. Open only to M.A. candidates in history and M.S.Ed. candidates in adolescence education: social studies. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered offered at least once per year
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Formulate a historical argument based on an analysis of primary sources relevant to a topic in U.S. history.
- Assess the strengths and deficiencies of existing scholarship on a selected historical topic.
- Create a well-organized historical essay.
