PED 623 - Assessment of Curricula and Instruction in Physical Education(S)Course will cover issues relating to assessment for the physical education teacher. Current issues such as the integration of New York State Learning Standards into unit planning will be a major focus. Authentic assessment techniques, assessment in the affective domain, development of cognitive tests and the development of grading systems will be addressed.Prerequisites: PED 621 and PED 622.(3 cr. hr.)
