AAS 215 - Sports and Music Explores the meaning and role of sport and music in human endeavor and culture and how these intersect. Included is music associated with the Olympics, as nationalist testimony through national anthems, half-time shows, "popularism" in music and sport, music and the representation of team identity, sports music as militaristic displacement, and music in sports films.
