PED 154 - Introduction to Golf

Basic skills are taught and practiced to gain an understanding of the fundamentals to play golf. Having these basic skills will lead students to be able to play recreational golf. Notes: This course is usually a quarter course offered seasonally.(0.5 cr. hr.)
Frequency code A = offered every semester

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Integrate the fundamental skills, knowledge and strategies of golf during game play. 
  2. Demonstrate appropriate etiquette during game play. 
  3. Explain how golf can contribute to lifetime physical fitness and wellness.
