EXS 470 - Application of Personal Training

Experience in the operation of the fitness facilities and the promotion of wellness themes through the Student Life Center. Prerequisite: EXS 270. (2 cr. hr.)
Frequency code A = offered every semester

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Design a total body exercise program for a personal training client.
  2. Collect data in a health screen and physical fitness assessment and interpret data to construct a workout program.
  3. Create rapport with a client, assess them and experiment with improving movement patterns.
  4. Collect information while working with a client and analyze data to support improvement.
