FSA 630 - Students with Disabilities in Context Explores the multicultural and personal characteristics of children who have disabilities, including psychological and social-emotional characteristics, academic and family needs within the contexts of home, school and community. Historical and contemporary study of normalization, impact of medical complications, nature of developmental delays, Committee on Special Education procedures, planning and managing the school and home environment, functional analysis and related topics. Prerequisite: FSA 510 or FSA 515. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
