HLH 230 - Advocacy and Contemporary Issues in College Health

An examination of advocacy for contemporary health issues among college students. A major component of the course is advocating for self, others and for change at the local state, and federal levels. Topics include healthy decision-making and advocacy among a variety of contemporary college health issues. Prerequisite: HLH 203 (for Health Department Majors); or HLH 110 (for non-majors). Fulfills: GE 10; PRES. (3 cr. hr.)
