COM 425 - Girl Culture and Media
Historical overview of Girls Studies; examines issues of gender equity, psychological development, socialization, identity formation, self-esteem, sexuality, political and social activism, as well as popular culture representations of girls including non-binary girls and transgirls in both the U.S. and international contexts. Prerequisite: COM 100. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
