GRY 315 - Ecotourism

A global and local analysis of the physical environment as a tourism development resource. An examination of such natural systems as the rain forest, ocean and desert as tourism resources and the environmental impact of tourism on the viability of these niches. Regional and local studies of the environment as a basis for tourism development will be drawn from Amazonia, East Africa, Central America, the Caribbean and North America. Also listed as REC 315.
