BIO 444 - Immunology
Introduction to the immune system with an emphasis on the immune cells and chemicals that protect against disease. Topics covered include innate immunity, lymphocyte development and specificity, antigen recognition and processing, T cell functions, vaccination, immunoglobulin structure and function, and recognition and eradication of cancerous cells. Prerequisite: BIO 210. Fulfills: LASR. (4 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
