PSY 280 - Orientation to Clinical Professions in Psychology An introduction to the field of clinical psychology and the helping professions. Review of professional roles and settings, training requirements and areas of specialization such as neuropsychology, child, forensic. Discussion of contemporary and ethical issues, clinical activities such as assessment, intervention, record keeping and review of basic helping skills. Prerequisite: PSY 101. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
