EDU 330 - Assessment of Young Learners with Diverse Needs Acquaints candidates with the observation and assessment techniques necessary to understand the growth and development of young children, including children with and without disabilities, in order to meet the individual needs of children while building on their strengths. Examines formal and informal assessments of social-emotional, physical/sensorimotor, intellectual, communication, creative, health and adaptive behavior. Addresses critical issues in early childhood developmental assessment and the assessment of young children with disabilities. Prerequisites: EDU 270 and PSY 231. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
